The Latest from Honda

One of the latest additions to Honda's range, the BF80 takes 50 years of Honda's technological advancements and puts them into one smooth, streamline model.

One of the most obvious advancements is the increased output from the engine. Packed into an outboard the same size as the Honda BF75, you'll be sure to feel the power!

Economic Power

Coming in at well under 200kg, the BF80 is designed to deliver optimum levels of performance whilst ensuring excellent fuel economy.

As with all Honda engines, it has been designed with the environment in mind, so that - keeping in line with the Honda philosophy - the BF80 will help leave Blue Skies for our Children.

The sleek, streamline design fits and complements any customer choice of boat, maximising their boating experience.

World Leading Features

A range of Honda-exclusive technologies combine to deliver exceptional power and best-in-class fuel economy.

The BF80 incorporates BLAST™ – Honda’s advanced ignition timing control system, which significantly improves hole-shot performance.

It's also NMEA2000 compliant, allowing engine-to-electronics data communication to deliver engine management and performance data to compatible marine electronics displays.

Ecomo and Trolling Controls

Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection is world-renowned, and the BF80 delivers ECOmo™ - a sophisticated fuel control system that contributes to the engines’ excellent fuel economy.

The BF80 can also be networked with Honda's VeeThree multi-function digital gauges. Designed to provide a comprehensive range of information to users, the gauges also feature Honda's unique Eco light, which indicates when ECOmo™ mode is in operation (for best fuel efficiency during cruising).

An optional Trolling Control function also allows precise control of engine speed, offering adjustments in 50rpm increments from 650rpm to 1000rpm, which is ideal for various styles of fishing and slow speed manoeuvres.
